The North American Old Catholic Church is a catholic denomination in the worldwide, universal church of Jesus Christ.
Dedicated to "Fostering a continued, strong commitment to catholic tradition and the search for contemporary meaning," our parishes and ministries throughout the US reach out to and embrace all of God's Children. Our ministries are transparent - no one is turned away from learning about God's love and acceptance.

What's New In Our Church?

We would like to congratulate our latest class of Deacons on their ordination this November 21 in Baltimore, MD: Katherine Appello of New York; Brother Joe Scott, OCSJ, of Maryland; Jeff Harris, LC, of Michigan; and David Martins of Rhode Island.

Where is your Community?

We are now on Facebook!

As always, to keep up with the latest news on the national church, please visit our Newsroom.

Our community is all around us! Our organized church activities occur in schools, prisons, nursing homes, and parishes. We are also involved in 'visible witness' work, where as individuals, we minister to people in our everyday lives.

Many of our clergy are 'bi-vocational,' meaning they hold down regular everyday jobs, just like you do. This allows our clergy to bring the presence of Christ to people where they live, work, and play.

About Our Activities

Each of our clergy, and each of our ministries are committed and engaged in their local community. They participate in social justice outreach, education, and sacramental ministries, giving special attention to those parts of society that are marginalized and ignored by other institutional churches: women, elderly, immigrants, homosexuals, homeless, and veterans.
